Why acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a safe, painless, and effective healthcare system to restore, prevent and maintain balance in the entire organism and to get well from all sorts of symptoms.
The use of fine, sterile, disposable needles is placed in acupuncture points to reorganize the Vital energy flow AKA “Qi” to balance the channels, harmonize the organ system and unblock energy stagnation and blood stasis.

Is an acupuncture treatment painful?
Generally, there is no pain at all. However, there is a sensation of heaviness and numbness in the region surrounding the needle which often calms down within a few seconds. In some instances, there is manipulation to increase the benefit of the treatment.
How many treatments does it take to get well?
It depends on the specific case as well as the individual. Overall, for mild cases, 2-3 treatments are necessary to feel improvements. For more severe or chronic cases, it is recommended a course of 6 treatments to feel some sort of relief to see. Follow-up examination will be determined if more treatments are needed. Often, most patients claim benefits from the first few sessions.
